healingmirthI figured I should start writing some of this down before it leaves my head entirely. I've read I-don't-know-how-many stories this this week, and I've still got like 8 fandoms bookmarked that I want to read in. And then there's older stories (MASH! Why did it not occur to me that there would be MASH fic out there somewhere?) that I want to go back to, but so far I've been trying to move through after 3-4 stories in a fandom as, like, a palate-cleanser. (also, seriously LJ? I think you could have added fandom to your spellcheck yourself. as well as livejournal. and LJ.) And I haven't even looked at other people's rec posts so far. I'm sure there's stuff out there that I've neglected because I'm unfamiliar with the fandom, but is still brilliant and in need of reading.
Most of these deserve actual recs, rather than just linking them, but it's late and I'm lazy.

Awesome, heart-filled Klinger POV
MASH, gen, Hawkeye (and BJ and Trapper) Dear Trapper
This is more awesome than I have the proper words for - fantastic character voices all around.
Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, Harry and Perry Suburban Decay
Perry narration! Fantastic opening line! And a classic fanfic plot that I totally did not see coming.
Rocky Horror, Frank/Brad A Minor Inconvenience
Absolutely charming language and a fantastically self-centered (or maybe self-assured) Frank.
Office RPF Mindy/BJ You Sent Me to Thailand (I Ended Up In France)
This is made up of some much awesome that I (again) can not properly convey it in words. Absolutely hilarious voice, and so much perfect randomness and lovely details.
Dr. Horrible, gen Who Will Save Us Now?
I particularly like the first section, because there's such a distinctive character voice and the author totally nails the fun of it.

Actually, I think I just want to rec all the Dr. Horrible stuff. But am sleepy now so pressing pause on the recs. (or using my mostly-functional-but-somewhat-temporary freeze ray, as it were)
