I don't even know what to do with all this not-rain. It's disconcerting.
There are birds outside, as one might expect because I live on Earth in a temperate climate. One would think, watching my cat react, that birds had been invented this morning. He's already fallen off the windowsill twice in the past hour because he startled when something landed on the roof.
Another amusing thing - my father was watching Oprah this week. Suffice it to say this is unusual.
I'm sure you have all seen this, but just in case
queerlygen. Unfortunately, I fail like a giant failing thing at writing gen of any respectable length. Where is the part of my brain with the plots? I should find that.
Oh, speaking of plots. I spent most of the time in the current warnings debate sort of reading-with-popcorn rather than using any of it to inform any personal policy about warnings, because with the exception of some porn where the warning for some is totally an advertisement for others, I don't write about things that need to be warned for, so I've never run up against the spoiler/warning problem. Except now, I have this plot that sort of depends on a misunderstanding where one character may-or-may-not have done something really horrible to the other. And I'll totally warn for whatever horribleness if I write it, but this is what I get for thinking "wow, I'm glad I never run into that problem." Also, this is what happens when I spend too much time outside weeding: I plot things, and they get away from me.
And then, as always, there's dancing (which would be more fun if my life always involved dancing, rather than involving the watching of dancing)
( cut for blah blah blah about SYTYCD )
