Filed under OMG ridiculous, but I love this news for so many reasons: Harvey Fierstein Is Librettist for Newsies Musical, With Songs by Menken and Feldman. I would watch the face off a stage adaptation of Newsies. I'm not even going to pretend I wouldn't.
I think the New York Times may have changed when they require registration to view articles, because these all came up pages asking me to log in. Still gonna link 'em, though.
