healingmirth: Coca-Cola bear with Yuletide text (yuletide)
You know what's really long? The Yuletide eligible fandom and character list. I made it through, though, by expedient skipping of anything I didn't recognize, like every book written ever. I took several breaks for naps and/or actual sleep.

I have the plague, and by the plague I mean a persistent head cold. I like to think that there are times when I put aside my minor problems and push though, but today was not one of them. I very nearly put my head down on the table in the middle of a meeting this morning. Even though I didn't, I'm sure that my posture still made me look like an impatient brat.
I have this whole thing about going to see The Scottsboro Boys on Saturday, but it requires a level of sentence-putting-together that is currently beyond me.
Also, Fairway Market, whose website seems to work intermittently, has a new location in Stamford, and it is ridiculous and more than a little overwhelming. 80,000 square feet of food. I keep wanting to say that it's like someone smashed a Whole Foods and a Stop and Shop together, but I think the "organic and natural" half of the store is larger than the Whole Foods locations near me. (I think that the New York locations are also fairly large? How have I never heard of this before?)

Capitalism, dude. WTH.
healingmirth: Abby from NCIS looking skeptical (abby)
There is this video of Christina Sajous singing "God Bless the USA" for Veteran's Day, and there's some sort of military/veterans band playing behind her, and for the first thirty seconds or so, the conductor is just killing me. I can't tell if the band just totally ignored his tempo - maybe they just didn't know? I can't tell if he indicated anything before the first downbeat - and he's struggling against it, or what. Anyway, it pained me to watch, so clearly I needed to pass that information along. It seems to get better, eventually? Awkward.

And now I am done being judgmental for the day.
