The endless reruns of NCIS are on season four this week, AKA the one where Tony is constantly deceiving everyone on the team, and it's reminding me of how that was basically my bulletproof narrative kink in that fandom, with its cousin, hiding an illness or injury.

Which now strikes me as odd, because it's fairly close to everything I started to hate about White Collar. And it's not like Matt Bomer isn't capable of selling me on his being conflicted and feeling guilty, and feeling like he needs to look out for himself because no one else will.

Suits is back June 11, and I still haven't watched the back half of the last season. The battle of Gina vs. OH MY GOD, I CAN NO LONGER SUSPEND MY DISBELIEF continues.

I think with White Collar, the forced to keep a secret thing was played over so many times in so many improbable ways that I could only conclude that Neal just liked keeping secrets. If they'd done it, idk, once ever other season, instead of twice a season, I'd have lasted longer than I did.
