Really questionable song choices this season... maybe they're running out of material.
Last week they gave Kim Kardashian Baby Got Back for her mambo - which was frankly a horrible song choice for the style, but got points for comedy at least. Not that the show needs any more self-indulgent humor, with Cloris Leachman on this season.
This Week In Randomness, they gave Brooke Burke that song from the diamond commercials, which I'm sure has an actual name, and Franz Ferdinand for Misty and Maks's Paso, but not the part of it that I think leads itself to the choreography, or maybe the band was just playing it too up-tempo.
And then Lance Bass got I Kissed a Girl When the song started, I thought "oh, maybe they're letting the couples choose the music" but it was obvious from the interview after that it had been assigned. I think a couple seasons ago, they were rotating through the professionals, and each of them would pick all the music one week, so they're probably still doing that. But yeah, I'm... I'm not sure if conflicted or confused is the word. Lance and Lacey clearly embraced it, so, whatever, I guess.
