I haven't watched The Daily Show in months, and decided to start catching up, and I was totally going to quote things, but it's just not as awesome in text. For the record though, Jon Stewart and The Daily Show writers are still made of win, in case you were wondering.

So, Dancing!

Another tapper! From last season! (and I remember her now, but she wasn't the one I was thinking of) I think she is my favorite tap audition this year... or at least tied with Ethan's brother, who's name I don't think I ever heard. So, this is not good news for the tappers that I have no idea who they are, but I will be very excited to see them again!

So, other favorites tonight. Sammy Ramirez (the popper or whatever with the cool hair),
Kelsea Taylor (the quirky one with the white bangs and the blue streaks and the red...whatever in her hair), Kuponoi'hi... sorry, gonna need to see that again before I spell it right.

How precious were Arielle and Phillip in their duet? And did I miss something, and he's automatically through to Vegas this year? I assumed, after the Battle with whatisname last season, that that was his launchingpad to fame, but I saw him on the preview reel for Vegas.

And then, there was not-dancing.

Dude. So Nick Salzman, the guy with the tats, and the quitting. He is the brain twin of the guy with the long red dreads last night who "pioneered" his electro style, and then walked off mid-critique after being a completely dismissive asshole to Nigel.

Regarding David "Sex" Soller vs. Leonid "Wise Leo" Knyshov in the dance battle that I could have done without (and Sex asked his mom for permission first. What would have happened if she'd said no? "Sorry, Mom. I'm a dancer. That's what I do.")

reminded me of this - (Starring Deborah Gibson!) you can stop watching after 0:30 or so.

And, returning to awesome, Kristen Bell was on Craig Ferguson again, a while back (and yeah, I could phrase that better, but not gonna) promoting Fanboys, (did they actually release it this time?). Kirsten Bell is nearly my favorite thing ever all by herself. Kristen Bell and Craig Ferguson is beyond my ability to resist

There was wayyyy too much hi! look at the freaks! for me on SYTYCD last night. And yeah, they put Phillip straight through to Vegas before he danced one beat. <3ed the duet.

Apparently Seattle is not a hotbed of unknown dancing talent. I think Kelsea was from, like, Wisconsin.
