I'm stealing internet to post this. Cable (tv+ internet) is out. I am trying so hard to watch Torchwood on TV on the US broadcast schedule, and the world is conspiring against me, I swear. Maybe if my phone is feeling cooperative with LJ and DW, I might even read and comment elsewhere, but if I disappear from the internet for a while, that's why.

So, dancing, yeah?

I sort of love Ellen. I don't watch her show, because I don't do talk shows, but her style of comedy is dear to my heart. But... uh, why is she there? Did they ever explain that? Stunt casting?

I love that they gave Travis the shot at choreographing the group routine for the performance show. I need to rewatch it when I have time (that is the other saga, the random brokenness of the wmv file that this week's dancing is in) but I'm totally vicariously proud of him.

Evan and Janette - Janette's lines were so, so, so much more precise than Evan's were, but he kept up. He might be around another week if someone has a bad routine and he has a particularly good solo. And even though I liked the routine, it seemed long? Rumba: whatever. It was fine. Better than I epxected from Evan, and precisely what I expected from Janette.

I totally love what Ellen had to say about Evan. She's forgiven for the randomness of her being on the show. And wow, was not expecting Mia to jump on that bandwagon.

Also, Dear SYTYCD - that studio orchestrated version of Heartless is 600 times less cool than his live acoustic was. Good god, way to ruin a song

Jeanine and Brandon... I didn't actually watch their waltz, apparently. I liked the beginning. I thought I watched it. Hrm. LOVED their second routine though, and I think Jeanine outperformed Brandon, with her "keeping up" in technique and power.

Melissa and Ade: precise. again. I wanted Ade to spend more time showing off his partner in the cha cha. They danced very much to each other. And yeah, his 2 seconds of showing off when Nigel was talking, way better than the routine, for him. However, like everyone else, loved Tyce's routine. Don't have anything new to say about it. I bet that gets Ade votes at least. Maybe Melissa too. On average, I think they ended up about equal.

Kayla and Jason - I always want Broadway to be louder, but I enjoyed that routine, for what it was. Loved their hip-hop, and now I've seen them do hip-hop, and they rocked it. Kayla's totally in my top 2. Probably with Jeanine, and Janette a bit behind her.

As for the solos, I love Evan's solo, as always. He's so precious. Loved Jeanine's too, and she didn't get overambitious with her turns this week, finally. I'm sure there's been a routine to that song though. Mia, maybe? anyone remember? I think Kayla did a fabulous job of choreographing a solo to the music. Loved it, loved the variety in such a short time.

I don't feel like Jason's performing when he's dancing. Like, he dances so well...but. So, that holds for his solo tonight, since there was nothing and no one there to kick him. Ade - third solo, third layout, y/n? Much better job choreographing to the music, or choosing the music for the sort of thing he was going to choreograph anyway. I would have liked to see him pick music like last week, again, and do a better job with it. But, whatever, I'm not going to vote for anyone, and there's no judges' save. What the hell was up with Janette's solo? Least appropriate intro ever: totally lacking in Miami heat. Celine Dion? really? Melissa's solo... new music, new costume, new steps, technically. Same performance. Blah.

I'm not watching Leverage yet this season, but I caught 5 seconds of Eliot teaching Parker to fight or whatever, and now I want to go catch up. I miss the show.

I don't have words for how exited I am to see Gold Digger on Glee. I love that song. I'm not ashamed.
