Dancing! on my TV!

I think I've said, like, all of this before, but it all bears repeating.
I could not be less interested in the new Twilight movie, but that werewolf guy is (hell, all the werewolf guys are) hot. Not hot enough to get me to pay to watch the movie, but I don't mind the commercials so much as I could. So, so shallow. *is ashamed*
Tap mics did not bother me as much this week as last, even with them having to move into place at center stage, but I'd still prefer they were turned off. Paula Abdul chair still annoys me, but its presence made way for Shankman's string of song titles, so it's forgiven, this once.
In related news, I still love Adam Shankman, and I am completely in love with his approach to judging this episode.
And! In a stunning turn of events, I do not hate the stage anymore. Were they not using the backdrop last week? Or did I just ignore it in my stage-hatred.
Hahahahaha at Mollee and Nathan having disco last week and Bollywood this week. Rigged! Although, this was a lot slower than the past routines, though no less intricate. I still sorta want to punch Mollee in the face when she talks, but I'm enjoying the dancing.
Several dances later, still love Adam best.
So, I think Kathryn and Legacy were my favorites last week. I already knew that Stacey Tookey was one of my favorite choreographers. My favorite routine last season was the addiction piece that Mia choreographed for Kayla and Kupono. Who wants to guess what my favorite routine this week was?
Hahahahahaha, Wade. Your concepts. I am very much appreciating the 60's cat-burglar aesthetic.
In conclusion, I hope that less Mia means more room for Stacey and Wade. I always hope for more Wade, though.
Dear Nigel. I do not understand your tap bias. I'm not sorry they're gone, though I did sort of like Phillip.

Date: 2009-11-04 04:02 am (UTC)Yeah, I loved the addiction peace, and I loved Stacey's piece too. I wish Noelle had gone home, though. Bianca just pleases me on some weird level. I was fine with Philip going home, though, because holy crap, Victor. What beautiful legs!

Date: 2009-11-04 09:46 pm (UTC)Hee. I keep watching awards shows and such aimed at teenagers for the Gossip Girl kids and then being like, aw, Taylor Lautner, I want to pinch your face and make you tea.
(He's like 17 tho, so I keep my wishes G-rated.)
SYTYCD was not terribly interesting last night, IDK.

Date: 2009-11-05 04:43 am (UTC)By halfway through SYTYCD I was wondering where all the good dancers went, because I was really sort of excited for the season during Vegas, and then...
It got better? I guess? I don't feel like I can say "I didn't like the choreography" or "I didn't like the performance" for the routines that didn't impress me. I want to blame someone, but I'm not sure who, yet.
