healingmirth: Delahoy from the Unusuals, unimpressed (unusuals - delahoy)
I don't know what I dreamed about last night, but the one thing I remember with perfect clarity was that I had a keyboard with multiple E keys, and it made perfect sense at the time, what with it being the most common vowel - which I only assume to be true because of years of watching Wheel of Fortune as a kid. There was one E in the usual place, and one on the home row between D and F, and one op the upper right next to the P.

Still watching Oz, and season three did not quite live up to expectations. It might be on me that I just didn't connect to some of the major storylines; I don't know. There are still moments when I say yes, this! But then there are huge swaths where I just don't care.

for instance... )

See, I like the moments where I feel like I don't know what's going on, or at least that I might not know, and those were too few and far between. Onward to season four, though!
healingmirth: Neil Patrick Harris as Barney with a six-pack of beer (NPH)
I have one word for the beginning of this year's Tony award broadcast. Awkward. I think this was the same word I had for last year's broadcast. And this year there's no Neil Patrick Harris, though I do enjoy the effort Sean Hayes is making.

The sound in the opening sequence was a complete disaster. (it got better later)

The awards portion of the evening led off with Katie Holmes busting out of the bodice of her dress, next to Daniel Radcliffe who's about boob-tall on her.

I could say more, but instead I'll just refer you to the NY Times live blog, where they say everything I would have said, as well as a bunch of stuff that I wouldn't.
